Twigs, carefully placed pebbles and folded or pierced leaves perform as a transient choreographic system. Path Finder I explores a speculative vocabulary developed through and within my familiar forest. Attuning to the details within our environments, can we translate them into a score or a poem?

Nina Djekić

Nina Djekić is a Slovenian artist based in Amsterdam. Spanning a variety of mediums, her practice revolves around notions of movement and embodiment as entangled with language. Finding inspiration in situated folk knowledge, various forms of incantations and speculative fictions with focus on feminine-botanical kinship.
