A statement by the artist

Video work filmed during a residency program in Tokyo 2019. Japans landscape is fertile and destructive. In 2019 Japan Meteorological Agency monitors a typhoon that builds momentum in the pacific for 18 days. The night of its landfall an earthquake hits the city. I collect information on Typhoons and film a local fisher.
